Our beat and story choices
We cover AI, search, and customer response for local businesses. We choose stories when a documented change affects how an owner gets found, answers customers, or runs the work behind a booking. We look for useful evidence and a clear consequence for owners, rather than repeating a product announcement without context.
Facts and sources
Every factual claim must trace to a source listed with the story. We prefer original documentation, public records, research, and direct measurements. We link to the evidence, identify its publisher, separate a vendor's claims from verified findings, and state limits or uncertainty. We omit claims we cannot support.
Our own data
When we report TaskChad measurements, every data point carries its collection method and date. The method explains what we measured, the sample or test conditions, and relevant limits. We distinguish a controlled test from an observation of a live system and do not present either as a guarantee for other businesses. We do not publish client names or identifiable client records.
AI assistance and accountability
We use AI for research and drafting. Automated checks validate source coverage, factual support, data methods, and publication requirements before a story can publish. A passing check is a publication gate, not a claim that software cannot make mistakes. Stories carry the TaskChad News Desk byline, disclose AI assistance, and list their sources. Our team is accountable for the result and for correcting errors.
Commercial interests, vendors, and clients
We accept no paid placement in news coverage. Vendors receive the same source and evidence requirements whether or not we use their products. Client relationships do not buy coverage, and we do not name clients in news stories. TaskChad sells AI, search, and customer response services. When a story relates to a service we sell, we disclose that interest and label related service links as commercial work. Buying a service is never a condition for access to a report.
Corrections and contact
We investigate reported errors against the underlying sources. Material corrections carry a dated note explaining what changed, and the article's updated date changes with it. We retract a report when its central claim cannot be supported. Retracted reports leave the public news listings, feed, and sitemap. See our corrections policy and record.
